Pandemonium: Small review

*Contains Spoilers*

Pandemonium is the continuation of Lena's story after the huge cliffhanger of its precedent, Delirium. I was trying to look for answers in this book, the major one being, "What happened to Alex?"
However, this book didn't answer any of it.

It's not that I dind't like it, because in fact I really enjoyed this book, but just the mere thought of not having my favourite character in the entire book killed me.

In Pandemonium, Lauren Oliver gives us a new writing style: We are given alternating glimpses of THEN as in Lena's life after crossing the fence and NOW which deals with the present situation - a new and stronger Lena, who is oficially part of the Resistance.

Once again Lauren Oliver's writing style amazed me. She is truly an incredible and talented writer, and one of the things that kept me through this book were simply the way how she presents her words.

“Grief is like sinking, like being buried. I am in water tawny color of kicked up dirt Every breath is full of choking. there is nothing to hold on to, no sides, no way to claw myself up. there is nothing left to do but let go.”

We are introduced to several new characters, but there's one who stands out: Julian. And at first, I refused the idea that Lena could be with anyone else that was not Alex, but I had to give in, and eventually I started to care for Julian's character. You either love him or you hate him. Now you choose.

“Love, the deadliest of all deadly things.
It kills you.
Alex.
When you have it.
Alex.
And when you don't.
Alex.”

As I said at first, none of questions were answered in this book, instead I ended it with more. I didn't put this book down at all, honestly it was mostly because I was so eager to know what happend to Alex (again), and then I got to the last page, to the last word and BOOOM. My world went down. I seriously cried just because of that page.

Are you wondering if it is really worth reading? Yes.
